I don't know, I always understood impressionable to mean more along the lines of, monkey see monkey do.

Couldn't agree more, definitely one of the worst conversation you can get your self into, ive seen this type of conversation many a time, never ends well, and everyone involved just looks stupid for wearing there hardships as a badge of honour.

Although i can totally see why Jackie would jump in to defend Charlie she didn't need to come out with the Grandmother thing or the ovary thing either. All she had to say was "yeah, my daughter does speak before she thinks sometimes but we're all different and have different ways of handling situations and none of us are perfect" and when Jemima started telling Jackie that she shouldn't defend Charlie all the time she should have just kept it to "she's my daughter and it's my natural instinct as a mother to look out for her.......BIATCH FACE!!!"

Jemima's ridiculous rant seemed like just another one of her desperate attempts to direct everyone's attention her way! The stupid, needy witch.

My guess would be a stroke (a non sex based stroke!) or a heart attack or something, Charlie rushes in to hold wobbly/fainty looking grandparent, grandparent falls on Charlie and dies!

Yes probably, it was just the way she put it, I have heard of "he/she died in my arms", but "died on top of her" was almost comical in a black humour sort of way.
