The mum of Big Brother 2013 housemate Dexter Koh has confessed not all he’s boasted about in the house is true.

Most of Dexter’s back story has already been pulled apart in the press, with revelations that his big casino win and champagne binge was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

His own business manager recently claimed that Dexter was broke with “no money at all”, and his ‘media’ job involved being a paparazzi photographer.

Even has mum confessed that a lot of what he said to get into the house was “exaggeration”, such as his tales of being London’s highest paid male escort and “most notorious” Sugar Daddy.

“I’m not sure about the male escort bit – I think that was an exaggeration,” mum Ellen says. “I think years ago someone wanted to do an article.

“If someone says: ‘I’ll give you £6,000 for your name and picture’, you’d say yes wouldn’t you? I think it was actually more like £25,000.”

And Dex’s mum also revealed she also wasn’t sure his girlfriend was real either.

“I’ve not met her,” she said. “He told me he liked her a lot, but it was early days – I don’t think he had the time to get to know her.”

Ellen added: “It’s work to him. He’ll look for ways to make money and will go for it – whatever it is.”

Cant see anyone being too shocked by this really

I'm more interested in hearing about Gina and if her story is real, especially because of the fuss she kicked up after watching other peoples VT and about how honest she claims she is

I am sorry but the 1million 5 bedoomed house with pool and stuff in kingscross is the major fault in her story. 1m would barely buy a pokey little flat in london

Gina's back story is as fake as Dexter's, they were both fabricated in December of last year. Possibly by the same agency.

I have always said, I never believed his stories,I found it amusing listening to them but took them all with a pinch of salt.

Clearly consistent and habitual lying to everyone in there to impress,while that is indeed sad that someone feels any need to do that, he is clearly a guy not to be trusted, which I wouldn't do as to him anyway.

So he's one of those people who will do anything for money as long as it doesn't involve an honest days work. I can see him doing shady dealings and maybe ending up in jail one day.

Anyone who watches him for more than 5 minutes and believes half of the stuff he claims to have done needs their head examined. A sugar daddy? That?? Most girls I know would laugh in his face or severely take the pi$$ out of him - just as Hazel and Charlie have done, albeit on a much milder scale.

It doesn't bother me that Dexter has lied at all, but it would bother me about Gina because she's been acting all high and mighty over other peoples VTs

one part is apparently true, Gina's father doesn't like her, she told the others this shortly before midnight while the Live feed wasn't being censored!!

Same here, I 'always' take what they say on their VTs with a huge pinch of salt. Trouble is, I think it is BB that encourages the housemates to embellish on their VTs. I just go by how they are in the house and how entertaining I find them, no matter with embellished back stories. Past housemates like Mary for instance said something along the lines of BB encourageing her to go into the house in witch costume, and I think a few others have said near the same about their entrances re dress.
