I watched a Penn and Teller: Bull**** episode on this, Basically, you literally don't have to worry (i'll still do it anyway though lmao), There's very few germs and Urine has no bacteria in it.

Usually if I'm not at home and I need to pee I try to hold it for as long as I can so I can try last until I get home, but then if I get desperate enough to use a toilet away from home it's too late for me to have time to cover the seat.
