We've still got a week until the Spike TV Video Game Awards air, but you can already take a glimpse at a new PS3 exclusive called The Last of Us. The trailer showcases riots, tragic humans, quarantine signs, and overall strife.

After you check out the trailer below, [via IGN] head over to the game's official website and check out a video of an ant thing. What's that all about? Hopefully we'll know a bit more come the VGAs.

I was already interested before, but it's just turned into a must buy. I hope it's very I Am Legend-esque, it looks like it could be, and I always thought that would be a great premise for a video game.

Think it was The Guardian who dished out a torrid review that was just one paragraph and three lines long. Granted, he said it's a must play but still a poor review.

Will be getting it on release due to an Amazon voucher I have.

I got this yesterday, enjoying it A LOT.

I'm a fair way into this game now (I think), the story has been brilliant so far, and the gameplay has blown me away.

Yeah, lol, those god damned clickers are nightmares. I have to say, this is what Silent Hill and Resident Evil should be like, not in terms of story, but gameplay, Last of Us is the only game that makes me dread going further (at points). I love the infected areas with the spores in too, seeing how the fungus has changed the buildings and such.
