So simon will bully Louis into picking whoever Simon wants.
But we'll likely get a good group put through by Simon

Oh dear, I'm sure this will be funny (for two seconds), although surely unfair to the judges who have the best categories. Cheryl will almost certainly be perfectly safe with this, given the strong line up of girls. Louis is screwed with his crap line up of the groups. Simon is probably screwed too.

I'll guess that these will be the 4 wild cards though from those who make judges houses and who I think will get initially cut.

They want another Joke act since we didn't have one last year, but isn't there going to be a lot of people in the lives this year?

Too glam to give a damn

The same amount in series 7 & 8, although series 7 had a lot of double eliminations and series 8 had the twist where every judge had to pick an act to go in the first week.
I think lives are set earlier this year, hence why everything has felt rushed. ...hmm, just seen that the date the lives start seems to be the same as any other year. Maybe there'll be a few double eliminations.

Louis will pick a joke act for Simon and Simon will pick a joke act for Louis. Or a girl band. Something Louis won't know what to do with. Cheryl will pick someone she feels deserves a second chance with a sad look on her face and Mel B will have a hard nosed glare on her face as she picks the most deserving girl for Cheryl. It's all so predictable.

Bit disappointed with this. Wasn't the original idea that there was going to be a new judge for the live shows and they get to pict one act from each category who didn't get through to mentor. That would have been a lot more interesting and avoids deadlocks aswell. They could have even had a different celebrity mentoring each week, which could have meant quote big celebrities as they would have only had to commit to a week. Or actually have us as the fifth judge, we get to pick who we want through and choose songs for them each week out of a choice of three. It would have been good for the app and brought in a bit of profit but no thy have no imagination and do a crappy twist like this

Wish they could choose from 'bootcamp' (can you even call it that, next year they should just call it The Six Chair Challenge), justice for Ten

According to The Sun, Mel B will get to bring back one of Louis Walsh’s groups, Cheryl will pick one of Mel’s axed Boys, Louis will chose one of Simon Cowell’s Over 25s, while he will get to bring back one of Cheryl’s Girls.
The twist will also mean that there will be a bumper 16 finalists this year, instead of the usual 12. Simon apparently came up with the scheme after Paul Akister’s auditions, which saw the music mogul slam Louis Walsh for sending him home during the Judges Houses round last year.
