Nah they do it about 3 days before for CBB aswell.

Can you not remember the classic Heather with a bag over her head being rushed into a hotel?

Lets be honest aswell these days why do the civillians even need to go into hiding? The press don't care. Its the celebs now who are the Jade Goodys and Nikki Grahames.

No it was defo in the run up to the series starting.

I read that they mainly stay in a hotel for a week with a producer or runner in the room with them making sure they don't look at anything. Then they go off and do some promo images and other stuff. Sounds pretty boring actually lol

Not sure how they get to the eye. I'd assume they get moved from their hotels to the studios a few hours before launch and are kept in separate rooms until it's their cue, then they are moved to the eye, possibly blindfolded as they walk over (although I doubt it).
