According to testimony at the police fatality fact-finding review, two BLM officers were responding to a report of a hitch-hiker in the road and a possible assault on Highway 159 when they encountered 20-year-old D'Andre Berghardt.

They claim they tasered him four times after he refused to listen to commands.

Dash cam video, showing the final moments of Berghardt's life, was at the center of the hearing that claimed Berghardt's life on Valentine's Day in 2014.
