I have high hopes for this series after last nights launch and it is the best one we have had in years and the housemates were all perfect, usually there is one on launch night you really hate so much but thats not happened this year.

I feel the the theme and the twist actually went together and unlike Power Trip the Time Bomb them can last the whole series without getting boring if they do it right.

What is everyone else thoughts and do you feel it will be a great series?

Not feeling this one at all adam,they all seem bland and samey,which = boring

I think it would be better to leave it a few episodes before judging the series, but from first impressions, i have high hopes for this one

BB really is show biz with or with out simon.

I have high hopes based on last night. Although I felt the same with BB15 and we all know how that turned out.

Give it a week and we'll see whether this series will turn out great or not.

It's only the first day and i like it already. But we won't see the true characters emerge until after week one. Then all the masks slip.

I'm saying yes! I'm being optimistic! I think we have a good selection of housemates so hopefully it's a great series!

thats right - but in all a great bunch and diverse even if not on the age of them but still fantastic.

Yes, there's a good mix of personalities in there. I like it.

I think it will have similar success to BB13

So far it seems to have a lighter vibe to it (which I'm currently in the mood for). There are a lot of interesting characters in there, a good diversity. The launch night wasn't over dramatic and heavy as it could have been (with the eviction twist). It can go either way, so I'll need to watch this space.

Same here, it's been too geared towards aggression and nastiness the last while, last year especially was quite draining to watch
