I don't know, I'm not a Helen fan by a long stretch and I doubted that stuff about Brian and "frozen duckgate" was true until I saw the photo evidence today, I'd be inclined to believe her actually

Niamh, that photo evidence is of Brian doing his frozen duck..the lie is in that Helen went on to say she felt traumatised by it and made her think he was bonkers etc..when in fact she thought it was funny and told him he should do it when they got back into the house.
It's all there in the video, them discussing how to shock the housemates when they went back in.

How do you know she wasn't traumatised?

The symptoms of post traumatic stress can start immediately or be delayed.

I don't understand why people are insisting she laughed when she didn't, and even if she did, people laugh or giggle when they're nervous and in uncomfortable situations. If anything, she told him to do it for the shock effect so the other housemates could see him for the weirdo he really is. Not because it was "funny".

So you can't really take as the gospel truth anything else she is probably exaggerating to justify her own behaviour.

Yes, I’m sorry she went through a crap time as a kid, but who didn't? She's not the only who's ever had an eating disorder.

I used to be bulimic when I was a child. Just because of this, and the fact I found life unbearable, doesn't mean it's an excuse for my actions. Or that others have to hear about it.

Why is she trying to belittle Nikki because she has a different mental state from Helen, bulimia is different to anorexia and Nikki had a terrible battle with it.



I have no new found sympathy for Helen after she has taken her column space to defend her own actions and comments in my opinion showing zero remorse
