Is this really news? So the school doesn't like your leopard print hair. Of course they don't. Change it and move on, you can't run to the Daily Mail every time something doesn't go your way. Usually these articles feature people with haircuts a bit more subtle than this...

Surely sending her home is really disruptive to learning whereas a haircut is not
