Do you have protective parents?
My mum isn't that protective but she can be in a weird way.
My dad surprisingly is very protective, although you'd never think it. Like the other week I had bought a travel card for the day (my oyster hadn't arrived) and it was 7PM and I was heading back from the Apple Store in Covent Garden (he works in CG) and he made me cab, so wasted like £7 on the train ticket - said it was "too dangerous".
Are your parents protective?
