Sadly i don't have any parents and they've been gone a while, so appreciate when they care as its only because they love and cherish you - even though you may feel smothered sometimes.

For those who's parents are alive right now get real and drop the attitude. Tell them you love them and appreciate them and thank them for all they have done for you before they are gone. That's all they want to hear from you tbh. Get on with it and do it!
