I don't watch BBUSA but I'm interested in this nonetheless. It seems like with the other BB versions I know of, returnee series' are quite a rare thing (BBUK has done 3 out of 30+ series' and BBCAN has only done 1) and the fans get sick of returnees in new series' after a couple of times (BBCAN fans are already saying they don't want more returnees any time soon BBUK fans are kind of done with the whole thing too) but with BBUSA there seems to be at least one returning player every season (or it feels like that's the case anyway) and I was just wondering why this is and if fans of it actually like that or are sick of it? And do you think BB19 will have returnees too?
It's a pretty trivial thing to make a thread on but I was intrigued. |

I think fans do seem to like it? Just because with returnees there's more of an attachment so there's somewhat of a guaranteed viewership as a result of it. That said, most returnees BBUS bring back such and are just recycled mediocre houseguests from previous seasons (Nicole and James spring to mind) so yeah meh personally i'm not a fan of it either Cal haha

Returning players in BBUS seems to have become the standard since BB13. I assume the fans do like it and they only have so many veterans back because America prefer to see their favourites play again.
They also cast a lot of siblings related to popular HGs too. |

I like the idea of bringing back people who were pre jury. I mean ika is proof of having a big character who went earlier and came back and did well on a second time. I can think of many pre juries I think deserve 2nd chances.

I don't think it's so much that Americans love returning players (just look at the Survivor Facebook page or the Big Brother Facebook page or any other similar website) but that Grodner and CBS are extremely unoriginal, stubborn, set in their ways, and ultimately know that they can do whatever the **** they want bc enough idiots will still watch.
