Default Corbyns only argument is human/workers rights? we have them already?

dont we?

so what about the fact the eu is bankrupt and were over run by 100s of thousands of immigrants many of whom are illegal and have criminal backgrounds and some of whom are terrorists?

what about the human rights of the masses?

what about the workers rights of the workers who will be taken over by the massive corporations?

cant understand where corbyn is coming from?

uk has always had strong human rights and workers rights for 100 years

Corbyn does'nt even believe the crap he's spouting. He's been anti EU his whole life.He just does'nt want to be at odds with the Labour party on another issue. He's thinking of his job by going against his morals.

Yeah... he's worrying abut the Human Rights of the masses while cosying up to Hamas... who don't know the meaning of the words Human Rights. It's an enigma.

Yes a very selective version of human rights. The EU goes against everything he's supposed to stand for.Corporate take overs,Capitalism etc etc.

We have workers rights in the UK some by our own means and others that have been a part of things we signed up to as to the EU too.

The fact people like Sports Direct get away with what has gone on is because our own govts have not acted against them earlier.

Nothing to do with the EU, the UK govt put in place the minimum wage,if companies are not paying that, and also abusing their staff as to conditions at the workplace, after all the laws and directives to same.
It is the govt in power that should be making sure action is take against such bad employers.

If the govt too, made sure all employers paid all staff the minimum wage, we also would have less people from outside the Country then likely working in the UK,particularly for such Companies who are actually paying them less than the minimum wage with in some cases probably cash in hand at too.

That is for whatever govt we elect in the UK to get to grips with, not the EU.

Furthermore Corbyns vision of the EU is a far more social democratic one, with even more strengthening of workers rights,he feels rightly or wrongly the task of full workers rights is not complete.

In fact he is right,Margaret Thatchers govt was right to take on the Unions and bring in safeguards as to strikes etc;
However and even under Blair, things started slipping too far and now some reverting back is needed.

Maybe the EU is not the vehicle for that,it should be our govt who ensures full workers rights come about.
Then again if Corbyn believes in, and he can make the case for, the EU to assist as to more workers rights, more than the EU has already, I am all for that.

Cosying up is not correct diplomatic talks maybe.
Speaking of human rights what would you call our governments friendship with China... An enigma wrapped in a mystery?

Well said Joey, how did it get so far initially where was the expose of the practices as they were applied?
Workers rights are being eroded in the private sector and the animosity towards the public sector is palpable due to what appears to be nothing but jealousy... I don't have that, so why should you!
Hang on, shouldn't the anger at be redirected at the multi billion dollar corporations exploiting their workforce?....Nah, don't be daft we are the UK we only attack our own :/

Would I trust the current govt to maintain workers rights (such as they are) outside the EU directives?... NO WAY

Why? two words, Phillip Green.

what about the workers rights to make complaints within corrupt public bodies or the nhs without fear of reprisial? when labour ran the country those who made complaints were hounded and bullied, 50% of nhs doctors said they felt bullied by other staff...the sheer enromity of cover ups in the public sector under labour was horrific to behold

do we have workers rights, well its 50/50, because 16-21 year olds get very poor pay, and zero hour contract workers are treated just as badly, and the government sold out british jobs to cheap foreign labour, the workers union won't get any big power as they did back in the 70s, because the country nearly went bust, when they gave workers silly amounts of money, and that was the final nail in the coffin to are industrial life, because much of that money was needed to improve, maintenance level that was badly needed, and now you have mike ashley the barrow boy from the east end, and the retail sector, is the worst place to work, today, because they bring in people who do not know what they are doing, and they act like they have been in the job for 15 years, and they are overqualified, there are many reasons why britain is the worst place to get work,

Slowly eroding rights and worsening conditions, let's face it, and pay that is steadily dropping relative to the cost of living.

Not an EU issue in my opinion: this trend will sadly continue in or out.

Frankly, if a private company wasted as much cash as the public sector, they'd go under.
