It's the perennial question but what's the answer?

I'm now bewildered as to what he's actually doing. On the one hand I have this theory that he's clocked on that it's vote to save and has made a conscious effort to start stirring **** and causing drama so he'll fare better (whereas under VTE he could've done what he did in the first week...not much), as well as emphasising the 'divide' to endear himself and the others to the public, but then the other half of me wonders whether he's actually going about this the right way? That is, the more he and the others isolate themselves and are perceived as taking everything too seriously (which, if I'm looking at this objectively - I'd say they were during the mouse incident), the more he's sinking his own ship. Not to mention the bitching runs a risk of two things, A) being perceived as just that, a bitch, and B) him being exposed in some ridiculous task...surely he must know production's penchant for this? Finally, in terms of house politics, isolating yourself and walking away from and actively admitting you don't like a certain conversation (whether he's entitled or right to do so or not) is a terrible social game and is basically asking to be nominated.

But then again, maybe this is just the way he is, he's just being himself and It's Not That Deep? idk, I'm very confused at this point

I think he has accepted he will be up every week so isn't even trying to have a social game (giving me Kevin teas)

I don't see any game playing honestly (not that I wouldn't support a game player). I'd also tell my friends if someone was talking **** about them behind their back even if it is considered **** stirring.

Well he's in a type of game show, so it wouldn't be too far a stretch to think that. But i wouldn't see the probem, everyone has a game plan, wether they admit it or not

If I was going into the Big Brother house, I most definitely
a) would have a gameplan
b) wouldn't admit it on camera

As for Raph ... he's probably not playing the game he expected to, but he knows the show well enough to put some thought into his actions, and their effect on the others and the public.

To an extent yes and he's playing it really well. If I was to play a game there, I'd lead a group of the less popular housemates also and he's fantastic at keeping Chanelle and the sisters as calmed down as he can. He's sometimes been accused of just being a bitch or a coward but jumping into confrontation this early is a huge risk for BB and even still he's shown a more confrontational side as of late. His chances of winning increased a lot after this episode

Yes he is playing a game. I think he is playing it badly though as he seems to have forgotten that the public are actually watching and get a say in this And he of all people should know that the running between group tittletattling, bitching a lot and appearing to throw his friends under the bus for the sake of his 'gameplan' doesn't tend to go down well at all. He is trying to be the victim, however noone is actually victimizing him, which again doesn't tend to go down well. If he could have been a bit slyer about it and actually looked like the victim then it would be great (though personally I hate the 'victim' plan usually)

The rest of his plan seems to be to get the heat off himself by getting his m,ates to kick off and make themselves a target for nominations. And if they all end up going, its no skin off his nose as the pity thing will work better.

Basically, a decentish game but not when its so obvious what he is doing

Thats only because the rest are such unlikable personalities (or pretty invisible) at the moment though

He should be walking this really, given he watches like all series and could take the best bits from each of the best players plans.

Also early faves tend to not actually do that well.

I think he will make the final though.

To a degree yes. Everyone in there is playing a game. But I certainly don't think he's a master manipulator, sneaky, or calculating.
