We need to revive a similar thing to when Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jade Ewan happened, that was the only time I remember us doing something serious and we cane 5th. Blue also did well so if we can get a recognisable artist (who's not 60+) to enter then that's a good alternative but honestly we're not helping ourselves with what we've put forward last few years

Not the famous Engelbert and Bonnie with their massive followings! How on earth did they not win it for us???

In all seriousness it's a damn travesty that we've got some of the most popular artists in the world and not one of them would ever even consider representing us. Other countries send their top artists and songs that are top of their own charts and big in their countries, so it's a damn shame we don't do the same!

We could literally send Little Mix, any of the One Direction lot, Adele, Ed Sheeran etc. and that alone would secure us a Top 5. Yet because we've sent so much crap and done so poorly every single year this country just sees it as a joke now and believes we'd come last regardless.

We need to start sending some decent music, all of this ‘inspiration, world peace’ nonsense just doesn’t work for Eurovision these days, we need to send something that can be played on radio all across Europe and Australia, actually put some effort into it, we need something that not only resonates, but people can’t stop listening to, not something people skit when they listen to the Eurovision playlists.

Remember when Jade Ewen came 5th with Andrew Lloyd Webber? That was because they made a point of going around various countries promoting the song, canvassing for votes etc on chat shows, radio shows and the like for MONTHS before the show. THIRD PLACE!

We have to put the work in! Tonight's top two were songs that had been massive hits across Europe, that's why they got all of those votes.
