Default I've lost a stone.

Since April. Now I'm 10 stone but want to get to 9 stone eventually. Im 5 foot 5. The key is to just keep busy and eat less seems to work. It helps walking at least 10000 steps a day.

Anyone have goals this year on losing weight? Gaining weight? Getting fitter? Eating healthier?

Anyone have any health advice would be appreciated.

Share your goals and advice in here please!

would it not be easier to get a little taller, if you aim for 5 foot 10 you will be a skinny queen?

Congrats chick

I lost quite a bit of weight a couple of years ago and the feeling is great, I would like to lose a little more though.. My only advice would be don’t slip back into bad habits and the main one really for me is drink water. Lots of it. It works wonders for keeping you trim.

It is in my best interest to lose weight. Nothing has really worked so far and I want to get to the bottom of it. This year I want to take my health seriously. I am planning to have a visit with my doctor to make sure there isn't an underlying issue which could be holding me back.

Good job on taking care of yourself!

Well done Beastie

Calorie deficit = weight loss it's simple science.

Theres no big complicated secret to it all like slimming clubs would have you believe, all these places like slimming world, ww etc cause people to have a negative relationship with food. Food is good, we need it to fuel our bodies.

Well done you! It’s a brilliant achievement.

I’ve lost 5 stone (last weigh in early December so now hopefully a bit more than that at my next weigh in Monday) since August through just calorie counting on an app that has literally changed my life, step counting (10k+ a day) and gym twice a week. Brilliant feeling!

Advice: loads of water, just keep moving - any opportunity you get to maybe walk somewhere instead of using a car or whatever take it and finally allow yourself a treat meal once a week, it helps you stay on track knowing you’ve got a takeaway or something to look forward to “in a few days” (you’ll work it off through exercise hopefully the next day too so no need to feel guilty!)

Well done Beastie! (and LaLa)

Random: why do y'all (as in the countries that do it) use "stone" as a weight measurement? It seems like two people that are 7 stone could be like a 20 pound difference or something like that???

Actually just looked and it's 1 stone = 14 pounds... omg that's even worse, 14 pounds per stone is such a random number
