Quite common for people like this to scam old people, leaving no paper trail and hoping for them to die before the investment was supposed to "pay off" so no one even realises.

Lowest of the low, as most people who get duped weren't even trying to get rich, they were trying to leave something behind for their family.

I think so, there was zero chemistry between them in the Villa, Dani was buttoned up like a nun in bed most nights I think it suited them both to cash in on being together and they held it out as long as they could until the cash cow went dry

I reckon when he found out he was going to be a dad they realised they weren't going to be able to keep up the charade much longer, so they decided to call it quits ASAP for it to be plausible that the conception was after they split...
