well it was one British skier, RIP

and he lived in the resort

A British skier is among seven people killed in series of deadly avalanches in the Swiss Alps, according to reports.

The man, 38, was engulfed by a wall of snow while skiing off-piste with nine others on Monday, it is said.

His family has been informed, police said.

The man is thought to have been living in Verbier - the popular resort where the tragedy happened.

Police spokesman Mathias Volken told The Sun the area where the avalanche happened was outside marked runs.

what?

why would they even go on winter vacation amid a ****** global pandemic, and even more so when last year this time of year, the biggest covid hotspot were at skiing resorts
