• Transgender Berkeley English Professor Grace Lavery was suspended from Twitter after saying she hoped Queen Elizabeth would die
  Lavery posted the tweet on Sunday and tagged the UK government as the Queen tested positive for COVID-19
  The professor said she stands by her statement and said people should not be banned for wishing death on public figures
  Following her ban on Twitter, Lavery posted a plethora of insults against the Queen and royal family on Instagram
  Lavery previously stirred up controversy when she advocated for her supporter to burn and destroy anti-trans books
  The latest drama comes as Lavery is set to tour the UK to promote her memoir

The problem is Niamh it seems to always be these lunatics that get the platform . They either want attention or they're too mysygonistic and unstable to ever make sense.

Social media gets more and more toxic,doubt anything will be done about this unfortunately.

They don't speak for the entire trans community,but my god are they trying their hardest to make that community look crazy. Which again we know not all of them behave this way.

This person ISN'T exactly a spokesperson for their 'community', they're actually doing more damage than good.

I can't speak for everyone,but I assume it's because this person has expressed such hate towards a woman aka The Queen. So people probably think they don't deserve to be referred to as a female anymore.

But as I said before this Trans person IS ONE person, they're not all like this. So regardless of their gender,race & sexuality they sound unstable . And people like that seem to always get a platform.

They're using this as an opportunity to say what they really feel about transwomen (with the mods blessing) no one suddenly starts making transphobic comments because of the actions of one person.

Some people might not believe the person is genuinely trans, remember Jessica Yanif . I believe that person was a crazy attention seeker and not really trans. Some sadly try to abuse the system.

But I don't know what the motivation is for this person wishing death on the Queen who knows. But they sound hateful and unstable.

But then I guess the same could be said about the crazy vegans who wish death on meat eaters. We know not all vegans behave that way .
