Not to be a morbid thread, more a sharing nostalgia thread.

I have a troll doll still from when I was 4. Was one of the last things my father brought me before he passed.

When my grandfather passed last year I requested all of his Fred Bassett annuals (a big box of them), as it was always a treat to read them as a kid when I visited and he’d have a new one every year.

I wear my mothers wedding ring, and I have a small ceramic Easter Bunny Eggcup that my grandmother bought me when I was 8, it has amazingly survived numerous house moves and I wouldn't part with it for the world

I got my mums jewellery apart from her opals. She was very superstitious about opals ans apparently they are bad luck to wear unless your are born in October so all her opals and a couple of other bits went to my niece.

I kept a lock of hair from my mum and dad …

Plus they both carried a cross on their keys so I always carry them both around on my key ring

I have a bunch of letters hidden somewhere and I don’t know where I put them, but they are from my grandmother (who passed in 05)

I want to find them one day, but the day I do will be very very emotional and I don’t think I can handle that

She also left behind a very nice watch that I wore to my prom. I’d like to maybe get married with it on

Yes I have wedding/sygnet rings from my parents parents…I really need to get them altered so I can wear them.
