If BB is to continue she needs to go.

I'm happy for her to stay to the end if it does get axed next year, and she's been great for the show over the first few years - but if she really loved the show as much as she says she does she would realise in order for it to move on to a new era she must sacrifice her job.

As much as i like Davina, maybe more people would tune-in with a new presenter.

Davina'd better stay until the very end. She is a big part of Big Brother, no need for a new host.

Why does she? If past BB shows are anything to go by then if it is to have any future then she has to stay.

The only reason she should quit is either if she decides to or if the show moves channel.

I can't imagine anyone else than Davina presenting it. Could you be imagine Ant and Dec presenting BB?!

The only one I can see presenting it is Justin Lee Collins - but that's my opinion.
But I want my lovely Davina to stay until the very very end. This is the show of her life.

Dermot did a rubbish job and he was the only one that can replace her. That was part of the reason I never liked Hijack.

If it goes to Sky I can only see Caroline Flack presenting it, but not on Channel 4. I can't see anyone but Davina presenting it there and if I'm honest I probably wouldn't watch it anymore if she wasn't involved.

JLC no. Holly Willougby is my choice at the moment - and that would get the press interested once again.

Ten years is a very long time for any presenter to be presenting any show - and most shows which last more than a decade change their presenter at some point.

I'm in little doubt if Davina had found herself another regular role (if her chat show had worked for example), she'd probably have quit BB by now.

But other presenters aren't really a big part of the show and its usually very early on. Davina is the established host, everyone associates her with Big Brother and vice versa. Getting rid of that would ruin the show imo. And according to viewers who watch world wide, Davina is by far the best host so I think we should actually be quite proud of that.

If Davina had to go, they should have got rid for series 5 but didn't, and now its too late to change anyway.

I don't see what good a new presenter will do.

It's all about change Tom. People are intrigued by change, and for everybody who loves Davina, there are those who don't like her too.

BB10 is getting virtually no coverage in the press at the moment. However, if Davina had gone and a new presenter was waiting to take over, they'd be a lot of speculation and much more coverage - and that could benefit the show - providing they get the host right.

What they don't need is a Davina clone - someone like Claudia Winkleman or even Kate Thornton, in a very similar mould. In addition, what they don't need is somebody else doing Davina's job - the role of the host would need to change too so they can really stamp their mark on it.

In TV nobody is irreplaceable.

But sometimes such change can go tits up. Looking at previous BB shows, BBLB and BBBM both suffered without their hosts. And look what happened to BB down under ... what makes you think they'll put any form of effort into replacing her? Channel 4 don't exactly have the best track record, and it could end up with a presenter who either doesn't like the show or is using it as a platform to bigger things, and they could leave shortly after. I really don't think anything like that would benefit BB in its current state. Maybe once it has definitely settled down (if it settles down) then maybe they should consider it.

For some change isn't good. Those who don't like Davina like the show for what it is and will continue watching. But for those who do like Davina, she is part of BB for them and it could lead to losing interest from those people, which with BB how it is atm is not good.

BBLB recovered once they'd got Zezi out though - OK, George isn't as good as Dermot was at his peak, but he's much better than Dermot was in his last couple of years.

Big Mouth suffered from the guest hosts - they should have given Jack the gig earlier. BB Aus just got the hosts wrong, but even so it would have been even worse with Gretel - she'd done her time.

BB8 in Australia proved that change is not always a good thing.

I see now reason for Davina to quit her job. She does a fantastic job. Other things need to be changed before they even consider firing Davina or before she quits.

With Davina it is great to see someone on my screen just like me. Someone who REALLY wants to be their and genuinly loves the show. The same cant honestly be said of Geroge Lamb. Big Brother is his job, not his summer.
