I feel sorry for him, and I hope his mum recovers soon.

However, this is Big Brother, not a ****ing charity.

The winner should be based on entertainment, not on who needs the money.

I think that's the reason that Isaac was thinking though but in all respects, how is winning Big brother going to help Charlie's mum? Money nor Fame can make her better :S

Charlie is highly entertaining. He does spectacularly well in spite of his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Had this been properly diagnosed when he was at school he would have had learning support. Sadly they just decided he was a 'naughty boy' and sat him outside the classroom.

Lovely lad and THIS doesn't make him a worthy winner but his gentle nature and good heartedness does.

Charlie

I don't think anyone deserves to win just because of some factor in their life which was not in the house.

People deserve to win when they've been a good housemate.

Sree then, since he ran the show when he was there. And the first month has everyone in it, including all the entertaing ones.

It's easy to stand up and look remotely entertaining now; all the bores are left!

Well considering most fans dont even use these forums there for dont even know that Charlies mum is sick, then he`ll probley still win because girls think hes "cute" or because hes entertaining, dont think anyone even knows his mum is sick

To process knowledge he has a need to share it with others, it is a coping strategy that goes with his condition. Hence his absolute candour. Whatever he says about anyone in what you call 'backstabbing' is simply sharing knowledge. He always shares the fact that he has talked about it with the person about whom he was talking if you observe. Nothing backstabbing in this, just trying to establish a consensus view of what is actually going on, so that he can process it.

Sree might have run the show, but I just found him extremely irritating. Something which I don't find with Marcus.

Apparently she suffered a cerebral aneurism (a bleed in the brain) whilst out shopping and is comatose in hospital. This is a long term condition.

No.

Feel sorry for the lad and his family, but having a mum that is ill does not a Big Brother winner make.

Charlie must have told all the HM's about his mum being ill, because they all want him to win and say he needs the money. We just haven't been shown the footage of him doing this.

Out of all of the housemates i'm hoping Charlie wins, he's a pretty down to earth guy, wants to see the best in everything and everyone.

I would however be careful when it comes to justifying someone's behaviour based on adhd....people are people, we all have good points and bad points.

I recently lost my mum, but I didn't go around my Uni shouting it out and making people give me stuff, he is over using it, it's too much like the X Factor sob stories for my liking.

Excuse me, Isaac mentioning it was the first we heard of it, after EIGHT weeks. His having blown the silence BB now has to engage in damage limitation .
