Season 9 kicks off January 12th 2010 in America, with episodes airing a day later here. There's usually a few people who watch it on here.

Meh, I wasn't really fussed last year. Neither Kris or Adam were my taste musically. I hope there's a better bunch of finalists this year.

Oh and there's guest judges at the auditions this year! From Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Joe Jonas, Victoria Beckham and more.

yes, this is one of my favourite Programmes ever
Love it! and we mostly get great contestants, with a good end result.

No, not really. American Idol has more diversity in its finalists, which is great but I don't really like the live shows. It's about 1 minute of a performance and a 5 minute VT about how hard life back in the South is. X Factor is definitely better overall.

Can't wait for this! The best act last year IMO was Kristen but she left in her first performance lmao. I hope they don't do the top 36 this year!
