Personally, I think BB7 deserved the award.

BB5 and BB6 equally were close behind, with BB3 not so far behind those, but ultimately, I just enjoyed BB7 more than the rest.

It was brilliant for the first 4/5 weeks but with the new unprepared for 13 week run it lost it shortly afterwoods.

BB5 was miles ahead of BB7 imo, perfect cast (minus Maro), perfect length, the best twist, the best housemate ever (Victor), it had everything.

And I don't rate BB6 that much at all with BB3 getting second place.

In my opinion Big Brother 6 was the best, though it's often forgotten about over the much overrated and generally very messy BB7. BB5 and BB3 were also good.

I think BB7 is very overrated. Sure, it was good for the first half of the series but there were way too many twists and pointless housemates. It was a good series but I don't think it can be called the best.
For me BB5 is a perfect series. I've re-watched it since it first aired and I still hold that view. It's very hard to find negatives about the series

I'm behind that 100%.

I loved the fact that the twists just kept on coming, and it also seemed to be one of the most emotional houses that we'd had up to that point (I'd go as far to say ever). Memorable characters, a ton of memorable moments. BB7 deffo for the top, which for a show to win best series on it's seventh season is no mean feat.

God I'm gonna miss Big Brother!!!

This. Half the time time when I watched BB7 I would be in stitches watching her tantrums lol, I loved her. Nikki was awesome!

People who voted on the online poll on the Channel 4 website are likely be teens/chavs/both who can't remember BB5. BB7 was their only option really, as BB8 was awful, BB9 and BB10 were okay but nothing special

i watched bb5 and bb6 when i was so young without taking any of it in so i have like forgot that but i remember bb5 emma and victor but dont think i watched the fight

BB7 Is so over rated its unbelivable.

Yes it was fantastic, but the housemates werent THAT good fgs.

BB5 or BB9 should of won that, more so BB9 but if BB5 won it I would of been delighted.

So yeah BB5 or BB9 were the real winners.
