there's a really specific degree of musk that can make me go weak LOL

and like...there are times of the year when you can notice the climate is changing, like shifts of season - is this just me? like there are some days when it's really downcast and it could be thundery at any moment, and it smells really...exciting?

Same - the car smoke thing reminds me of my dad.

Also love most Christmas smells for that reason: tangerines, chestnuts, roast dinners, and weirdly lemonade (because my mum would always let us make shandy for the littluns )

I have my granny's old art bag with all her crayons, pencils and sketchpad. She started attending classes later on in her life and whenever I'm feeling particulary nostalgic I unzip the bag and the moment I smell inside I'm transported back to my grandparents house. It's gone now so it's all I have left of the security and love I felt while they were around.
