CORONATION Street's Steve McDonald will file for divorce after wife Becky goes on a boys and booze bender around Weatherfield.

The fiery babe is in meltdown after Max is taken into care when social services discover she bought him for £20,000.


Becky, played by Katherine Kelly, 31, steals Steve’s credit card and moves from hotel to hotel drowning her sorrows.


But Steve (Simon Gregson, 36) decides enough is enough when he discovers she has romped with one of her low life pals called Noodle.


She makes a brief return to the Street but is soon left out in the cold when she tells a devastated Steve: “I had a different bloke every night and Noodle was twice the man you’ll ever be.”


Her encounter with Noodle (Christopher Brett) is the final straw.


A show source said; “Steve just can’t handle it any more. Becky’s behaviour has pushed him over the edge.”


Becky will turn to Noodle for comfort but he will soon feel the sharp edge of her tongue after he pokes fun at her closest friends Hayley and Roy Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh, 41, and David Neilson, 62).


Becky blasts: “Eh, don’t you ever ever have a go at them. They’re the nicest people I’ve ever known.”

Agreed. Karen was a legend and she ironically brought out the best badness that Tracy exhibted. (apart from that ornament to Charlie)

Don't think so, Kate Ford signed a 6 month contract but there were rumours about her leaving because she wanted to go back down south to look after her young son but Corrie strongly denied it..

She was only supposed to be back for a few months but I believe she is staying much longer now.I hope she goes soon though.

I was maybe a bit too hasty in saying I hope she goes I will admit, becasue although I didn't like her character I do find myself laughing a lot at the way she gets her own way and also the way she winds people up.

Tracy has actually been amusing and she does love to provoke, someone has to.
