BB Will Probably Fail
Let's see:
1) Brian Dowling as host. Yawn. He is almost as irritating as Davina, and that is no small feat by any stretch of the imagination. Why can't we have a decent, professional and charismatic presenter like Bruce Forsyth or Matthew Kelly? Michael Barrymore would have been a great choice also due to his great screen presence and former association with BB (he was a housemate during CBB 2006). The fact we have to put up with that annoying z-lister is nothing short of pathetic. Fail.
2) No live feed. Channel 5 could have actually made BB great by giving us decent live feed (not the stupid bird noises Channel 4 used to play just when a given conversation got interesting) but what do they do? They scrap it. And no, I'm not buying it that they censored most conversations due to 'legal reasons'. Imo it is more like they were saving decent footage for the next days' show, and probably were afraid if the viewers watched it on live feed, they wouldn't tune in the next day. Anyway, no (proper) live feed is appalling. Fail.
3) I expect the stupid voting public will do what they always do: vote out the entertaining housemates and BB probably won't do anything to rectify it, such as changing the voting system so that no housemates get evicted but instead have some sort of punishment (like receiving no phone call from home but having to watch everyone else receive one or by not being given alcohol but instead have to serve everyone else with beer all week etc). Putting an end to the eviction of good housemates is possible, but I am guessing the team behind the BB will be just as stupid as the last, and that we'll have boring housemates for at least 90% of the show. Fail.
Yep, BB will probably fail, for the reasons stated.
That is all.
