He is and deservedly so, he is head and shoulders above Ed Miliband and miles more honourable than Clegg.

However, it is the voting intentions that matter most,the fact is that the Conservatives 'need' to be at least 5 to 6% clear of Labour to get a simple overall majority, Labour likewise need to be something like 4% ahead of the Conservatives.

Once the boundary changes come into place for the next election and if this Govt; does run the full term then all I can see is another hung parliament,this time a likely Labour/Lib Dem one.
I cannot see the Conservatives in 2015,with all the pressure and hard line policies there will have to be before the election in 2015 gewtting any more than 38% max. in the election,Labour are sure to get a min.36% in 2015,just from disaffected Lib Dem voters switching to them.

I think Cameron could well just win an election now,riding out the Euro problems but he would need to promise a referendum on Europe of some form,I can also see Labour especially at the end of next year, if there is no progress in the polls enough to gurantee them an outright win,changing their leader and I doubt anyone at present for them could do worse than Ed Miliband.

I for instance know of at least 70 students who would vote Labour if they didn't have Miliband as the leader.
Very interesting year ahead I think.

Being the leader of the opposition should be a pretty easy job in these circumstances really but Ed managed to make a mess of things. Like the whole thing with Cameron's Veto and his fall out with Clegg, Miliband should have had a field day in Parliament capitalising on that but when he went on and on about the fall out Cameron just stood up and said "it's not that bad, it's not like we're brothers or anything" and sat back down again to rapturous applause and laughing from the Tories. Floored by a single joke.

I'd imagine the European veto has done him the world of good, but I still think he's pretty lousy. Just had terrible, terrible opposition leaders.

I agree with all you say MTVN, also though the Labour party need to look at this one I think,I have no party allegiance at all, I can see the good and bad of all parties however the British people are overall a fair minded people still, they don't like seeing a Brother sort of backstabbing another Brother,especially an older one.

It is an issue for them and Cameron is able to open that wound so many times because Ed Miliband really lacks the power punch he needs to beat Cameron.
I mentioned about 70 students in my above post, most of them do not like Ed Miliband and would not vote Labour for the reason that he seemed to backstab his older Brother.

You are absolutely correct though, Miliband should have had loads of field days against Cameron and Clegg in the Commons but he fails completely 75% of the time.
