I think I am confident in my looks and how people view me but I do worry that people judge me intellectually and that sometimes comes across I think because if somebody calls me stupid even as a joke I tend to react really defensivly to it.

...for me SH, having confidence isn't about how you look..it's not about 'being attractive'..it's about 'feeling attractive'..not just in appearances but everything about you...and a lot of that is inside you from childhood really..from a lot of sources who have great influence on you as well..parents/peers etc...maybe some is genetic...but whatever the reasons, it's hard to change it, so as you get older and people might comment on your looks etc..say 'you're pretty/good looking/handsome' etc..maybe for a fleeting moment you may believe them...but inside your head and your mindset will always refuse to believe them..so what you 'look like' and what people see.. and who you yourself see in the mirror are two different things...sometimes the complete opposite....

I'm not sure, sometimes I'm really confident sometimes I'm not.

I think I'm fairly good looking - but that can often change daily. I know I'm clever though, so I'm not insecure about that. I know I'm crap at sports and everyone else knows it too so idgaf about that.

Hell no! i absolutely hate my looks, i think i look rank tbh. I over analyse every single part of my appearance, until i just get to the point of hating everything about myself tbh! i get so jealous of other people aswell, which is so stupid, as jealousy is pointless :/ but i cant help it. I hardly go out with my friends, and always reject their invites, as i get so insecure, seeing everyone else at parties and stuff, and get really anxious of them judging my appearance, or just me in general so i just avoid it..
But yeah i really want plastic surgery when i get older tbh, i wish i wasn't so insecure, but oh well

I am in social situations, I'm a good mixer and get on well with all types of people. But personally my self confidence is low and how I look has a big part to play in that...I hate to say that as it sounds a bit shallow.

Yeah i'm not bad when it comes to socialising i suppose, i've met up with a few people online just to play Tennis and it's much easier when you talk about something you can both relate to, everything just comes together then and you don't need to make much effort to keep the conversation going same when your playing football as well or watching a film.. think it all depends on what kind of situation people are in.. can't stand it when someone you know stops you in town to talk and they just go on and on about different things, my secret weapon is usually one word answers but if it's one of my Mum's friends that doesn't seem to work at all
