...I won't defend Alicia for hiding the two bananas because storing food for yourself in that group situation is something that I really dislike...(although sometimes I do have to hide chocolate myself, otherwise I don't get any...)...but how spiteful of Katie to say that Alicia wasn't allowed Calum's banana when he offered it to her and saying that for him to give it to her had to be a 'conversation'..as in a group decision...everyone had one banana which was theirs so what they do with that banana is entirely up to them...it was just a mean and spiteful thing to do imo because it made absolutely no difference to her whether Alicia was given one by someone else.../thoughts, was Katie in the right or was she just being smug and spiteful..?...

She's a control freak and she wasn't going to let Alicia get away with anything or be compensated. I was more grossed out out by the "hug" demand from Katie - that kind of control freakery is just plain weird, but not surprising from her.

Not sure about snug or spiteful just rather silly which is how it looked. I think the only one to emerge with any credit is Alicia.I mentioned on another thread they knew she was vegetarian and she asked for Bananas when the shopping list was being done so why only order enough for one each.? Rylan said that they had spent a third of the luxury budget on chicken so Alicia was surely entitled to a few extra bananas.!

..yeah it was all a very awkward 'truce' and the apology from Alicia was enough...Katie's hug demand was patronising in that it was almost like a parent who had given a punishment and then deciding when that punishment would end/very controlling...

..yeah I think she saw Alicia as an easy target because all of the females were annoyed about it...(and probably rightfully so because the right thing for Alicia to have done would have been to talk to them all and ask how they felt about her having more bananas as she didn't eat other things the budget was spent on..)...and also because she knows that Alicia is very non confrontational but was worried how she would be perceived when Alicia was crying and had got so upset about it...(and spent time in the DR etc..)...and other housemates were around Alicia and comforting and hugging her so Katie didn't want to be seen as the 'villain'....how very ironic...

I actually felt sorry for Alicia it's a banana! lol They could have asked her quietly to one side but nope they had to ridicule her in public.. urgh! ok so she should NOT have hidden some perhaps asking her fellow HMs about them would have been a better option but Katie Chloe & Cami's actions were awful.. and if any HMs had gone through their stuff there would be War!

I do hope karma catches up with Chloe Cami & Katie real soon!

Completely agree. I'm not defending Alicia's taking of the bananas, but some people in there responded really badly and unnecessarily nastily.

well if they carry on like they did last night Alicia will get a sympathy vote and could win it. I felt really bad for Alicia last night, I can't stand that ganging up on someone like that, especially when it's clealry one of the weakest members of the group. And Katie saying that she only picks on her because she's not very intelligent? Disgusting and cowardly, just what I expect from that woman though

I agree with you, but I suppose in there because there is nowhere to run or hide, some don't want to rock the boat too much for fear of more reprisal if a group forms and starts to gang up on them, probably easier just to go to the diary room to pour your heart out and get it out your system.
