The video takes place in South Africa. The girlfriend fell asleep downstairs watching a movie, the man was sleeping in the bed. They both carry guns on them at all times because of how dangerous the area is.

My dog sleeps in the porch and she's a really good watch dog, no one would get passed her without her barking the place down but yeah where I live is pretty safe anyway

and thats why a dog is a much more useful pet than a cat. A bark is a bit more effective than a meow.
