She has apparently been threatened with deportion with her husband saying she should be allowed to stay because she is a white american.

So not only does it turn out Steven is a 1st class twat but he is also racist by believing only white foriegners should stay in the UK over non white people

The interesting story is the third and fourth paragraphs of the letter.

Her original residence card states that she received it on the basis of being a family member of an EEA National.

A friend of mine got a similar card for his Cuban Wife. To get the card on this basis, the friend had to be married.

So the big question - was Kimberley actually married to her ex, Sasha?
