In years gone by, all the BB winners that won, but didn't make it any further in the world of high finance and media success, all had one thing in common, they were not mentioned on here in any great volume.

HOWEVER

All the winners or controversial figures that went on to make substantial fortunes for themselves and remained current in the media, all had one thing in common...........

THEY WERE ALL TALKED ABOUT ON HERE CONSTANTLY.

In fact they were almost hated and loathed and there were loads of threads made about them. You only need to look at what Helen got last year to realise one very important factor, and that is........

ALL THE HATE THREADS ON MARC, are rapidly catapulting him into the realms of stardom and a wealth of riches that comes with fame and notoriety, so carry on guys, every hate thread rockets his bank account even further so be my guest, make the little man rich and happy, keep the threads coming.

What makes a star is talent, personality, character and longevity. Of course none of those necessarily apply to a "star" of Big Brother. And of course, having lots of posts about someone means nothing unless they're positive. There were lots of posts in Serious Debates about Jimmy Saville. It doesn't make him more of a "star" in my eyes.

I bet less than 5% of England know who Helen wood is. Marc will be the same. He has to choose between being a regular on bots or tallafornia. I'd imagine tallafornia is less soul crushing? So England will probably never hear of him again.

I'm sure Marc will get a weekly column in a pointless magazine next summer to spread his hate filled thoughts on the next season which no one will read like many BB contestants do, and he will probably get to be the bartender in the BBBOTS bar every Friday just like Helen did if he's lucky. However, at least by the grand majority of people's standards, that would not bring him anywhere close to being a "star" and in a couple of years time maximum he will fade into such a level of obscurity that even the 1 million people remaining watching Big Brother will not remember him, or Helen... thankfully.

Substantial fortunes.....I highly doubt it. They will get paltry PAs, Helen has a column granted but it will hardly be millions...reality tv stars do not make that much unless they get some lucrative advertising deals etc...
