Its been dire since 2010

Last year was completely unwatchable

AXE BB and run two 6 week long CBBs a year and ill be happy

May as well axe the whole show. No point in having BB without civilian

Well there is.

I think the long term fans need to accept that it isn't going to ever go back to being like 2002-2006

Its over.

CBB is the only thing worth watching now

No thanks.

It's already bad enough that they force us to swallow two series a year of CBB without axing the thing that made it happen just so we can get a few more weeks of CBB, especially considering how much they struggle for castings as well these days.

I'd rather just go back to one celeb series a year. No need to axe the main show. They just need to stop messing about trying to out twist each series. Go back to the fundamentals that make the show what it was. Simple really.

Or they could just make it good again by having entertaining housemates, not relying on shįt tasks for dramz, and not meddling with nominations every single week.

Well, it would be against all the odds but it is always possible for regular BB to bounce back because from 2011-2013 BB and CBB were both in the same boat and for 13 years they were always considered the same show "do you watch Big Brother?" when you're referring to cbb4. But then, CBB bounced back in Jim Davidson's series and kept that streak running, it's never had a bad series since. Also you may have noticed they know say "do you watch celebrity big brother?" when reffering to cbb13/15/17.

It took 5 c5 series of cbb before they suddenly got it right and BB is about to start it's 6th c5 series so it's really make or break (even more). If it starts getting ratings for highlights shows and/or the final that is better than the launch, that is when we know c5 have got it right.

I don't think they should axe BB because it's clear that we are not going to get BB6 again but I'd must prefer a civilian BB with people who want to be there than with an extended CBB with loads of celebs quitting because its too long.

But if there is room for a new BB franchise in Canada to start in the last 4 years... with civilians... and be successful, then why can't a UK civilian series be successful again.

UK producers just need to start taking notes on what is working in other BB markets at their annual BB convention imo.

This considering the Civilian series is the main reason why the Celeb series pulls in so much of an audience in the first place.

Wasn't 2011 BB12?

At least BB11 had big characters like Ben, Govan, Sunshine, Shabby, John James, and Josie, love them or hate them they all offered something to the series.

BB12 had Aaron that lasted long enough to contribute anything to the series, but that was about it.
