I'm sure I read on here the other day that her single was going to be released in the next couple of months. She's been recording her album.

She's recording her album, Leona's didn't come out until October/November, and neither did Leon's so Alexandra's won't until then too.
Meanwhile, 2 of her songs have leaked [Overcome & Perfect] along with a song from before she was famous [The Man For Me].

It's pretty standard for the winner to release their 2nd single like 10 months after they won the show; which fits in nicely with the live shows because they get to perform their single on the live show to promote it.

I hate it when people say this, just because JLS and Eoghan have rushed to release their crap what they call music doesn't mean because Alexandra hasn't released anything this year means shes done nothing, shes actually working hard to get good music produced for an album that will actually be good!

She's recording, meeting people and getting her album to the top standard before releasing anything. Eoghan released and album about 5 months after and it failed more than anything I've ever known. JLS are doing okay, but I doubt their album will be up to the standard that Alexandra's will be

on average you only need to sell about 30,000 to get to number one, so she could outsell the entire top 20 in her first week.

Alexandra has been in the US recording for a few months now, she has some amazing songs on her album so I've heard, she's never said she will be the next Beyonce, she just sees her as her idol. She's gonna do amazing, no doubt about that, don't be so unimpatient

leona disappeared for a while too though... they all seem to then suddenly spring back into life. whether for a really short period or a long running period like leona.
i dont think alexandra will do that well though.. its like leona all over again and we only need (and want?) the one leona!

Its different for different people, some can write number 1 singles in 20 minutes, some take much longer. Alexandra isn't getting that much control over hers anyway

Its common knowledge the winner always releases a single during the following x factor, its great promotion. Anyway, if you wasn't so completely stubborn you would of heard some of her leaked stuff
