I think she's such a fascinating person, she's a very experimental musician, her voice is instantly recognisable but you can't really describe her music in a word or put it in any particular genre.

...considering Britney didn't even write that song? Britney has always been a ballad writer and I'm sure many people who aren't die hard fans would agree Everytime is one of her best singles - and she wrote that. It was also from the period when she was Grammy nominated (and won) so I doubt many people find her songwriting meaningless.
