This whole alpha male crap we get every bb has become so boring. I bet she knows bugger all about him. Just that he is supposed to be some sort of 'tough guy' - and that in her book is obviously enough to call him a legend. Just increasingly boring to listen to!

Bullshit. You can't just make assumptions on her behalf like that. Come back to me when you have an argument that isn't based around assumption on another members tastes.

Has something happened in your life that has made you hate these so called 'Alpha Male' characters as you put it? You go through the same predictable motions in every Marcus thread that pops up. People like these type of comic tough guy characters. We find them humorous. We find other housemates humorous too.

There's nothing going on. There's no conspiracy. I really do wonder why you even watch Celebrity Big Brother, between being a misery merchant and hating Z-Listers.

Never suggested anything was 'going on'! You seem to be the conspiracy theorist around here. See it round every corner! The guy has done nothing worthy of being called a legend, or god, it was the same with Marcus. It applied even less to him. It is just so cringeworthy!

but yeah my guess is while some may see vinnie as the "alpha male" its more like you know what you get with him,so he's not pretending to be something he's not..furthermore he's not put a foot wrong in recent months so why would anyone have anything bad to say about him ?

Things that would make Vinnie a legend:
1) Being a famous footballer, winning the FA Cup and league.
2) Being a movie star and appearing alongside the likes of Brad Pitt, Nick Cage, John Travolta etc.

Name another celeb who has been on CBB with that kind of resume (and not one with an impressive resume from decades ago).

Yes he is supposed to be some sort of 'tough guy' and he has certainly been a thug at times in his life, but you are just as guilty as the people you accuse of liking him without knowing much about him because you paint a picture saying that all he is just a thug. To me he seems to have become quite a decent guy of late, an example being him donating his entire paycheck from Lock Stock to the hospital that saved his wife (and that he continues to be a supporter of). He is also rumored to be donating some of his CBB fee to the Help For Heroes organization. They don't seem like the actions of 'just a heartless thug' to me.
