often a lack of trust is a fear that the partner is having the same thoughts or actions as the person..

I'm not a jealous guy to be honest, I do trust my girlfriend and I always did it with my exes and they never crossed the line, it ended for different reasons tho. I'm a very flirtatious person so I need someone who's like me and understands what it is to like dancing with other people and socialize all the time. I'm quite lucky I only dated girls like that.

However, in business situations or anything else, trust no one is my motto. People can push you under the bus when they have the opportunity to. Once a guy tried to backstab me and a friend of mine in my rugby team, we never saw him ever again.

I trust my boyfriend and he trusts me. No point worrying about if he has cheated unless there is given proof. Just give people the benefit of the doubt.

Lol yeah sometimes I look at my boyfriend's phone and he looks at mine! I don't go on his emails and that though.. I tell him about TIBB and he is not interested

and he likes talking to his random friends on the net about machinery and shizz.

I agree, Beasty. There's no point at all worrying about something you have no control over. Hopefully you should feel confident enough in your choice of partner to be able to sleep easy. I think to trust someone you first have to trust yourself.

I trust my partner completly and he trusts me. Though he does have a jealous streak, like he can be way over-protective sometimes. I don't undertand why he feels the need to act like that, he knows I'd never ever cheat on him.. he's the one who's cheated on me in the past.

That is it exactly! Guilty conscience! How can you trust him completely - when he has already cheated on you?
