Do you prefer buying tracks/albums digitally online, or do you prefer buying the physical product?

Personally I like buying physical albums - I like having something to show for my money, and I love the artwork etc that you find on the cover and on the CD.

What are the opinions?

I always use iTunes for singles mostly.
With albums I like to purchase it physically so that it's with me forever. If my favourite artists release physical singles too I'll buy that aswell as buying it digitally.

Both. I like to have albums that I really love especially if they're packaged nicely. However I'm past that stage where I'm willing to wait days or weeks and pay postage fees for an album I need to import or that has had a limited release in which case I'll just get it on iTunes.

I always prefer a physical format. Very rarely I have to download. Sometimes I have to order via the artists site if it is not available in the shops, but it is very rare I cannot wait and have to download it there and then. I think I have only done that once? I used to love buying vinyl. You had a large cover, and if you were lucky got posters and lyric inserts etc blah blah.

Why?

Because I'd never listen to it. I usually download albums and singles from SIN, when they first leak.

Physically, there is nothing like holding an album in your hands, and knowing that when you get home you can put it in a CD player, which has much better speakers than any laptop/computer

I have only bought "Bodies" digitally, and that was just to get an extra song that came digitally

Physically,I like to have the album,see the disc,the sleeves,be able to play it on my hi-fi or in the car. I've never downloaded a full album,only a few singles.

I'll buy singles on iTunes, with the exception of charity records, which I will buy physically.

I can't stand downloading albums though as I prefer to have something in my hand, so I'll buy that physically.

I rarely buy stuff now though unless I really like a song or they're my favourite artist. I just listen to stuff on Spotify.
