which version of big brother would you prefer?

Old School: REAL people, no wannabees, entertainment from tasks and arguements and debates between HMs. A totally unbiased Little Brother. No bias in BB editing and NO big mouth, instead the psychology program or something similar

Modern BB: stereotypical HMs eg the bitchy one, the wannabee, the gay one, the eccentric one, the fit one etc. BB bias, focus on bitching and showmances and pushing their favourites. Bias Little Brother and gutter show big mouth.

Did Endemol choose the wrong path and that is why this is last series?

But it's impossible because the inocence of the first series can never be repeated.

People who go on it these days have all decided what future career they want from the show.

I LOVED old skool BB.....the 'social experiment'....just throw some randomers into a house and see what happens...I liked it that the public really DID decide, that the people were people we might have met every day, I liked the chickens, the making their own bread, everything.

Unfortunately (for the the viewers who think like me) it generated too many column inches and Endemol realised just what a great galloping cashcow it could become.....they fussed and faffed with the format and their 'ideal' housemate so many times from BB3 onwards that it became less and less like the original show.

Up until BB5 I think they had it right....after that the wannabees took over the show, the producer's manipulated way too much in the house, and we were subjected to night after night of 'auditions' as the housemates became less interested in their time in the house and more interested in what they were going to get out of it when they got out.

I would be happy with that.

One thing I do think that they have done better this year is control the alcohol.

In previous series it's just seemed to me that they have purposely given the housemates gallons of booze at any old excuse and let them get completely ratted.

Last year was hopeless, because every time Sophie sniffed a wine cork she got off her face within 10 seconds.

There have also been years when physical violence has almost broken out because people are so tanked up - the year Jason and Victor were in was the worst for that. But also Jade and her strip and PJ / BJ.

It just seemed that every time the producers got desperate they got the housemates drunk.

I like idea of completely random HMs too, but they would need to do 1 round of auditions to eliminate the bad eggs. Say they were then left with couple thousand normal people then do a pure luck based draw

If it was completely random might get a house of 14 wannabees
