why are most of the anti john james threads started by ben fans and vice versa ben hate threads started by john james fans this cheap point scoring trend is really grating on me why turn every thread into cheap digs at the other

Im a john James fan and I'm fed up with all these anti-JJ threads, mostly started by the same individuals who are obsessed with hating john james.

Well I can I tell you as a John James fan I have never started a Ben hate Thread, I don't feel the need to hate his rivals

There is far more to dislike about JJ2, or that slimey toad mario, or steve.

I don't see the need to be blindly and obsessively hating or liking a particular housemate.

I find it much more rewarding to just enjoy the show fairly impartially. I mean I like both Ben and JJ, but if one of them is acting like a dick I'll think "they are acting like a dick" same as I didn't particularly like Shabby or Coahme, but if they said something funny or did something interesting I would appreciate it.

To many people here try to read too much into things and play cod psychology in an attempt to condemn the ones they hate and condone their favorite. And some of the threads on here are just simply pathetic.

Yes, that would be the logical approach to have. I mean I seriously doubt that any of them are just pure evil as some people make out, they're people like the rest of us, they have good and bad points

They are contestants on a show - I don't love or hate any of them though I have my favourites as does everyone - I wouldn't go around slagging off contestants on the weakest link so I certainly wouldn't on big brother - it's just fun to share thoughts and comments on things that happen rather than dissect peoples characters - my opinion anyway.

It's a forum!! should we not start threads incase it annoys some one else who supports a different housemate?I am a Ben fan and really don't care how many threads are posted about him,but I will start threads about a housemate who has been thoughrougly vile to a housemate i like for their own benefit,infact I am at liberty to start a thread about any housemate.

Quite wierd how some fans get carried away, but maybe it is just the nature of the show.
I might really like someone one week and then they do something that annoys me the next. No favourites for me, but I don't do the hate thing either.
I might dislike certain parts of a housemates personality but like other parts.
You can only give your opinion on what you see, it does not mean it is correct though.
Perhaps the JJames and Ben fans attitude is down to loyalty to their chosen one. Like a blind faith. I don't quite get it but it does no harm really.Just as long as the fans don't get personal and nasty with each other it is quite funny.

Yes but it's not all the John james and Ben fans I might add. I quite like alot of Bens qualities and think he's a valuable HM in a house full of bores so I don't want him evicted cos it would be bad for the show, so as a fan primarily of the show itself then it should be Steve going on Friday as he adds the least to it.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think JJames, Ben and Corin have a stronger fanbase and so appears to be more love/hate threads on the forum. I am torn between JJames going or Steve. Not a fan of either to be honest.

It's the partisan nature of forums (and the show), I'm afraid. Fans of a housemate feel they have to dislike another housemate to balance out the hate that their favourite receives.

Also the show is based around the concept of voting people out, which increases the negativity.

Well I am a JJ fan and I too get sick of the same old people slating JJ.I do not hate anyone on BB but I do get a little incensed by the vitriolic comments.

I dont like Ben...but he is a great HM... I love good HMs that give us something to talk about.

There are a handful of people on this forum that just get so spiteful and personal...

I just ignore them as best I can...
