I heard he's going into Coronation Street, to play Roy Cropper's older brother, Desmond.

But it's just a rumour.

Well this is no rumour... I work for BBC Comedy, and I have some great news regarding Brian Blessed =]

He is now playing the roll of King Henry VIII on a new webshow called "Henry 8.0"

Brian was EPIC when he presented Have I Got News For You. When i watched it i just couldn't stop laughing he was just so hilarious.
