It would have been a slight against him, had he not been invited. He's still a SyCo artist and he has a record to promote.

I wonder if Leona will be asked again this year - she's been on every year since she won. She has a live DVD/CD coming out soon.

He's very lucky to get that gig. Don't think it will resurrect his pop career though tbh.
