I just don't find Steve Carell that funny and the chap with the glasses is just annoying, plus it's too OTT. I'm no fan of the original but it's miles better then the US version.

It's much, much better than the UK version. I still don't rate it that high though.

They completely contorted Gervais's concept of a real and true look into office life and whipped it into just another 'whacky' sitcom that lacks any realism. It's garbage.

Blasphemy.

The whole concept of the show was that it mirrors real life work environments, not Schrute pulling silly faces and 7 series of exaggerated characters.

It's just horrible to watch as a fan of the original, because it was perfect.
