I think it depends really, it probably doesn't apply so much when you're a teenager but when you have a house together and kids etc I think it does or definitely should. My husband is my best friend (awwwwwwww)

Have to laugh at my best 'girl' mates saying though. She says bloke is bestie with the testies and I'm bestie with the breasties

I agree, I think that's what a real relationship should be about. Of course, should it all go wrong, you're gonna need to find yourself a new best friend
