So I just got a call from a debt collection agency.

Because I am...wait for it... £2.40 behind with my TV license. PMSL. Two whole ****ing pounds and they pass it on to a debt collection place, I've actually never heard of anything so pathetic in my life

I started being a bit sarcastic too, coz I found it so ridiculous. I said I couldnt afford to pay and could they set up a payment plan for me so I could pay it in installments

I need to pay ours as well, but like that I don't even have the Irish channels so it really pisses me off paying it

The thing is, its apprently to keep BBc advert free.

But its still full of adverts. Yeah not advertising products, but about 4/5 adverts on advertising other programs inbetween things

Just another way to get money from people I think. I dont mind usually, its only a fiver a week or so, but when you get calls like this its well annoying

Not having ads in the middle of programs is good though. We pay a TV licence and they still have ads on in the middle of programs Not that I can even watch the Irish channels anyway!

Yeah, I only really watch Eastenders on BBC, it's fairly crap compared to the ITVs and Channel 4
