On the first eviction when Brian is talking to the house he'll slip up:

'Okay right, everyone - ready? Okay let's do this guys! I am now going to talk to the house ... Big Brother House, this is Davi- Brian! You are live on Channel 5 Please do not swear!

I swear - he'll either say Channel 4 instead of C5 or say Davina instead of his own name.

It'll be quite funny and perfectly understandable.

Davina's line has been iconic and always said by fans and stuff - it's only natural if he slips up, I mean you try saying 'Big Brother house this is Davina' 10 times and then replace Davina with Brian - you might slip up.

Does anyone else think he will? And look forward to it?

I don't mind too much if the line is good tbh

But it needs to be fresh, iconic and as much as I'll miss it, the well known line doesn't work with the new changes.

He should just really camp it up like that.

I have a feeling he may stutter over his lines a fair few times, on the times I've seen him on This Morning he doesn't seem fully comfortable live.

He will mess up somehow, it's almost guaranteed. I think he's more likely to say Channel 4 than say Davina, but we'll see.

I dont want Brian to be camp at all. And I don't want him to steal Davina's line anyway. She will always be the BB host in my eyes anyway.

He probably won't say "I'm coming to get you!", considering Davina didn't even come and get the housemates for like 10 years, that'd just be a bit unnecessary

They'll probably get him to say "Housemates, this is Brian, you're live on five" or something like that, similar but changed

He's allowed to be camp all he likes up until it comes to announcing the evictee.

He can be sort of camp in the interview - depending on the housemate I mean if there's some big ass mother ******er who no one likes and we all want the truth out of him for something he did in the house, Brian needs to be serious - if it's someone like Nikki or something he should just be himself it'll be okay then.

I think it's likely that he'll mess up with his lines. he doesn't seem comfortable live. it will be strange without davina!

Being camp is part of Brian's appeal though.

Generally, I don't like camp people but I warm to Brian for some reason.

He's perfectly comfortable live. Brian has thousands of hours of live TV under his belt.

When it comes to This Morning, the show is virtually, if not completely unrehearsed and he often appears as a last minute replacement. That certainly won't be the case on BB.

On Thursday though it will be the first show of a huge job for him. He's bound to make at least one mistake but we have to think: who wouldn't in those circumstances? Everybody makes mistakes. Davina was lucky, when she started on BB, her very first show was a much smaller affair with much lower expectations.

Yeah i agree i think Brian will to a great job, & so what if he slips up a bit, the nearer its gettting to launch date the more excited i am about Brian hosting.
