BB11 was getting around 2.6m last year and, honestly, although it's a new channel and so on, I still don't think it would be able to jump up from 2.6m to 4m within a year, live feed or no live feed!

If people don't want to watch the show just because there's no LF then fine, let them, it's a little stupid to ignore it altogether in my opinion but hey, it's their choice. I only watched live feed quite a lot on BB11, I survived BB1-BB10 with only tiny bits of live feed every now and then if I was bored and i've still enjoyed the show.

Totally agree Richard i was one of the ones who loved watching LF, but it will not stop me watching the HL's, but having said that, i dont think will i enjoy the show as much cause there no LF.

I couldn't care less about it. I only watch the main shows anyway, if I wanted to constantly hear bird noises I'd watch a nature program and get the visuals to go along with it.

I only ever dipped in and out of the live feed anyway, when it was on E4. I got through Big Brother 1 without any live feed whatsoever. Besides, people who watch the live feed surely have no need to watch the highlights so I never see how that factors into things.

And it'll be nice not to have threads obsessing over what was shown in the highlights and what wasn't. More room for manipulation probably, but at least that's their call to make now.

People overestimate the effects of the live feed, they wouldn't have axed it on C4 in the first place if it was doing well. It was obviously under performing and ultimately wasn't worth the price of it's upkeep. It's only the really fanatical fans that'll care about it and they are apart of a small minority.

Live feed let us make our own minds up about the housemates instead of having to rely on how they decide to edit them! It wasn't all bird noise lol! i will still be watching but i know dozens who won't be!

The HLs only show what the (usually inept) producers consider to be part of the "script" so they can manipulate the views and votes of those who haven't seen "the other side of the coin" .....

You hit the nail on the head. All we're gonna be given is an hour's edited highlights every evening.

What a load of rubbish. The whole point of BB is that's it's 24-hour viewing. You dip in when you want to and you learn to love or dislike the HMs.

It's not supposed to be some edited highlights show. This is very bad news.

I was looking forward to BB. Now, I have lost total interest. I cannot see myself getting into this series with just the highlights.

Channel 5 have totally misunderstood what the show is about and have quite frankly ignored the fans.

I can see BB going down the pan. It wouldn't surprise me if C5 axe the series midway through due to dire ratings.

What a shame........ Bottom line is that those who are not interested in live feed cannot be regarded as true BB fans. A fan will want as much as one can get in order to make up ones own mind instead of relying on contrived edits made for entertainment motives........

Channel 5 version of BB celebrity or otherwise is doomed without live feed.......

Those not interested in live feed want nothing more than a contrived soap opera made up of amateurs and will wast their votes on what at the end of the day will be a fraudulant version of a reality show......

Thing is Patrick, me and you loved BB9. I take you watched the Live feed? I didn't and i still loved it. I don't think the Live feed means everything. The biggest thing is the housemates.

Well, they haven't put enough money in for my liking. It's BB, it's about 24-hour access to the house. Have you people forgetton about that?

I only seriously watched live feed during BB2 and UBB. I shan't miss it.

If it's uneconomic it's uneconomic that's all there is to it. Other shows like IACGMOOH no longer have it and their ratings don't reflect that. I think BB on C5 will do fine for them without it.
