my rating is a maximum.
i would hope c5 advertise on main channels this week, especially itv1 at primetime. if they dont i see 3 million the bus advertisments are a good idea, packed city centre in hull yesterday and adverts were always on show i hope its at least 3

there has been intense speculation in the sun, metro, digital spy and such like.
and obviously daily star will cover it. i think this advertising week is crucial, if c5 want casual viewers they need to sell it. Fast

I'm not bothered about them advertising on other channels though - I'd rather they did that for the main series

For the launch, yeah, but then again everyone thought Charlie Sheen was going in.

i did actually, and to say the least i was dissapointed. But even my grandmother, who hates BB watched the celeb version and found it enjoyable. The launch has appeal to everyone, and checking the tv schedules for thursday the only real competition is the bank job. i see an early peak for the launch, but at 10pm ratings will slump

I think everyone was a bit disappointed when they were given Bobby Sabel instead.

I think the launch might do ok just because it's on a thursday night and it will probably be cold outside so no one will want to go out. Weather the viewing figures will keep up depends on how good the celebrities are. I can't imagine it would reach 5m again though, the final of BB12 which wasn't that long ago only got something like 2.5m I think.

very true, bobby sabel and darren lyons are not well known enought to keep the 'casual viewer' happy

Don't know. Has there been decent buzz and advertising for this year? I don't live in the UK so I wouldn't now. But it seems like its been unusually quiet on here.

C5 adverts on there own station, adverts on buses up and down uk. also trams in sheffield according to one forum member. billboards aswell, i have only seen buses myself

It will probably get 4 million due to not much else on t.v that night, good advertising and speculation etc. average all depends on the cast, poor cast will give an average of around 2.5m, good cast will average up to 3m. It could get higher but the names would have to be big and appeal to all audiences not just teenagers, e.g jedward.
